Jo graduated from Lancaster University in June 2000 with a 2:1 in Computer Science with Software Engineering. Jo started work on the DIRC project in July . Her final year project was to design and implement an Incident Management System that accommodates unstructured links between evidence and hypotheses. Jo's PhD, Situation Modelling - Design for Dependability, is focussed making ethnographic, situation information available to designers.
